All advertisements are 4-color process. Please prepare your ad as
a Macintosh formatted digital file. Ad should be built in QuarkXpress,
Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop. We can not accept ads created
in Multi-Ad Creator, Pagemaker, Microsoft Word, Word Perfect,
Publisher, Powerpoint, Corel, or Excel. We prefer you don't supply
a PDF, but if you must, we recommend you create a postscript then
Distill the file and create a high resolution PDF. Include all support
files and fonts (printer & screen fonts). You should not use True Type
fonts, nor should you bold, italic, shadow or outline the type in the
toolbox. Colors used should be CMYK process. Photoshop items should
be 300 dpi and preferably EPS format. For full page bleeds add 1/8"
on each side of the page. Do not bleed half or quarter page ads. Keep
all text and images within the live area. Supply files on a CD or via
email (larger files can be stuffed or zipped). Artwork should be
prepared to allow coupon placement at the TOP or BOTTOM of the
advertisement. GREAT DEAL$® Magazine has the right to adjust
coupon placement in any advertisement where necessary.
